ABOUT VSS
Veterinary Surgical Services (VSS) is a veterinary mobile specialty surgical practice for companion animals. As a referral-only practice, we partner with primary care veterinarians to provide surgical care for pets in the familiar environment of their hospital, or at our referral center in Brockport.
If your pet needs surgery, consult with your veterinarian first. VSS is dedicated to providing the highest quality patient care and service to referring veterinarians.
We are currently accepting referrals at Animal Clinic of East Avenue while our new hospital is being built. Please contact us directly to schedule a consultation.

Diplomate, American College of Veterinary Surgery
Dr. Kathy Collins is the proprietor of Veterinary Surgical Services, PLLC. Dr. Collins is a specialist in small animal surgery, achieving Board Certification from the American College of Veterinary Surgeons (ACVS) in 2001. To attain this level of expertise and recognition requires completion of an internship and a 3-year surgical residency, followed by passing a rigorous certification examination administered by ACVS. Dr. Collins has been working in specialty surgical practice since completion of her residency in July 2000.
